Principal's Message

Hello Bulldogs family, my name is Carlos Madrigal and I am extremely honored and excited to have been selected as your next Principal at Griffith STEAM MS. Upon my arrival we have hit the ground running  at Griffith STEAM!

As an East LA native and Garfield HS alumni I am fortunate to be able to give back to our students and community by providing them a safe learning environment. Our primary goal will be to continue working towards schoolwide student academic achievement and to prepare all student to be college and career ready by the team they leave our school!

As many of you know I come to Griffith STEAM from one of our feeder schools Hamasaki Medical Magnet and I am very lucky to continue the partnership with many of the families I served at Hamasaki. Our teachers and staff are dedicated and committed to the success of every student on our campus. My true open-door policy provides you complete access to speak to me on your schedule whether it’s an in person, zoom or a telephone conference. I am here to support both you and your child!

Soon we will be opening our doors to parent volunteers so you can be involved and part of the changes that are happening at Griffith STEAM! Please stop by anytime to see all the amazing things that are happening at Griffith STEAM.
