Ms. Crystal Nerio, MSW Intern 2021-2022

My name is Crystal Nerio, and I am an MSW student from California State University, Long Beach. I will be interning at Griffith STEAM Magnet Middle School as a Social Work Intern this school year. I will support students' mental health and emotional well-being through group, individual, classroom, and family services. I look forward to working with you all this school year! GO BULLDOGS!

Ms. Melissa Reyes, MSW Intern 2021-2022

My name is Melissa Reyes and I am an MSW student at CSULA. I will be interning at Griffith as a School Social Work Intern for the 2021-22 school year. In collaboration with our team, I will be providing mental health support to our students,  presenting information about mental health, and fostering a healthy and safe environment within our Griffith community. I’m very excited to join the team, and look forward to a successful school year! Go Bulldogs!

My name is Steffany Hernandez and I am currently in my first year of the MSW program at Cal State LA. This year I was given the opportunity to work with LAUSD as an Intern. I will be supporting Ms. Mariano and colleagues in providing mental health services to students at Griffith. I am excited and really looking forward to starting this new journey.
